Step into the past this summer! See a glimpse of Roman Cambridge with activities and costumes. Have a go at making a Roman bridge and chat to a Celtic crafter. Every Monday of the school holidays, find a historical character inside the Museum with an activity to take part in, and some stories to share. For the first three weeks, in the kitchen, meet a Romano-Briton looking for help building a bridge across the river Granta at the new settlement of Duroliponte and talk about life before and during the Roman occupation. Included with your Museum admission (children 16 and under go FREE) Roman Dates: Monday 10th August Times: All sessions run 11:00-15:00 and are drop-in. Tickets: No tickets are needed, sessions are included with Museum admission (children 16 and under FREE).
