Time: Friday, 11 September 2026 at 17:00Details: It is good to take some time out from the normal busyness of life and our church weekends are a way of doing this; and doing it together. / / And what is more we launched New Life Baptist Church 20 years ago in January 2026. So we wanted to enjoy some time away together as part of the celebration of this anniversary / / We are going for a smaller centre this time around which means that we will be the only group using this retreat centre for the weekend. That said, there is a footpath through the grounds so there may be a walker or two walking past the windows and possibly looking for a cup of coffee. / / We are delighted to have Helen Paynter from Bristol Baptist College joining us for the weekend. But be warned, she does not do "pink and fluffy" so there will be something challenging to get your teeth into! / / We will also have plenty of time to sit and chat, have fun together and above all, listen to what God has for us as individuals and as a church, and perhaps join with the Launde Abbey community in their regular prayer times. / / We will sort out program details nearer the time. / / The full cost of the weekend is about 250 per person, which can be paid in instalments.Location: Launde Abbey, East Norton, Leicester Postcode: LE7 9XB
