On Wednesday 24th June 2026, we are hosting a free online talk for adults, universities and secondary schools (Key Stage 4+) with Paralympic medallist Karé Adenegan. Image Credit: ParalympicsGB imagecomms Karé Adenegan is a wheelchair racer and seven-time British Paralympic medallist who began her journey in athletics at the age of eleven, after watching the London 2012 Paralympic Games. Karé has established herself as one of Britain’s leading athletes in T34 sprint events. Since making her Paralympic debut at Rio 2016 (where she won three medals) she has consistently performed at the highest level, adding further silver medals in the 100m and 800m at both the Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. Join us at 1pm when Karé will offer insight into life as an elite athlete, including training demands, race preparation and the marginal gains required to perform on the Paralympic stage across multiple Games cycles.
