About this event
Willow sculptor Leilah Vyner will guide you through this intensive day of willow weaving. You will create a beautiful festive reindeer to take home and install in the garden or indoors. You will learn techniques and tips to help you work with willow, including how to source the right kind of willow for sculpture how to plan and design a 3D sculpture what tools you will need to get you started how to approach the work bit by bit and weave a solid structure tips for completing and achieving a satisfactory finish guidance on how to store and treat your deer to ensure long life! Please note there is a £15 material charge payable on the day. Things to bring: Please note: This workshop is not suitable for people with arthritis in their hands.
