Following Jesus in the Workplace Seminars

The three "Following Jesus in the Workplace" seminars explore how Christian faith shapes everyday work. The first session presents a biblical theology of work, beginning in Genesis to show God's design and purposes for work, examining how the fall distorts it, and drawing lessons from Old Testament figures before looking to Jesus and Paul's teaching in Colossians to understand our calling today and the future of work in God's renewed creation. The second session focuses on fruitfulness at work, using Jesus' teaching in John 15 and a six-part framework from LICC to explore practical ways Christians can live as disciples in the workplace through both loving presence with colleagues and positive influence on workplace culture. The final session addresses witness in the workplace, helping Christians overcome fear about sharing their faith by exploring the biblical meaning of witness and reflecting on passages such as 1 Thessalonians 2:8, 1 Peter 3:15, and Luke 24, equipping participants to share both the story of Jesus and their own faith stories with courage and wisdom.
