About this event

Curious about Buddhism, or looking to reconnect with its timeless wisdom in everyday life? Our Sunday Dharma Talks offer a welcoming and relaxed space to explore Buddhist teachings in a way that is both practical and relatable. These informal talks are led by a rotating group of experienced Buddhist teachers and meditation instructors, each bringing many years of lived practice to their teaching. On the third Sunday of each month, they share insights drawn from the Buddhist tradition and from real life – speaking in a down-to-earth way that meets us exactly where we are. This month we are both honoured and excited to be welcoming Jamyang’s former resident teacher, Geshe Tashi Tsering to the podium. Much loved in the UK and in India for his warm-hearted wisdom, Geshe Tashi is currently fulfilling the wishes of HH the Dalai Lama by serving as Director of the Dalai Lama Centre for Tibetan and Indian Ancient Wisdom in Bodhgaya, India. The topic of his talk with us will focus on the groundbreaking work of this initiative at the forefront of the confluence between ancient wisdom and modern science & technology. Format: Hybrid (In-person & on zoom) When: Third Sunday of each month Suggested donation: £15 per session How to Join? The teaching will take place at Jamyang with the option to join remotely over zoom. Please select the relevant option when registering below. Donation Jamyang operates on a generosity model.
