Whether you prefer the traditional greens or love a specific colour theme, the choice is yours. During the session you will learn: • A brief history and importance of rag rug making and how it has evolved beyond the recycled clothing for ‘clippy’ mats of yester year to the colourful expressive forms of today • The ‘proddy’ and ‘hooky’ techniques, the tools used and the different effects they create • What types of fabrics that can be used and tips on how best to use them • Learn how to size and divide the layout onto hessian before hooking and prodding the fabric into place • Finishing techniques for the wreath, hanging attachments and embellishments Don't miss this opportunity to learn new skills and create a Christmas decorative display that will last for years to come!
