Kiln-Fired Silver Rings from Precious Metal Clay

This workshop is both suitable for those new to using silver clay or those looking for a great next step as you learn skills for making a silver ring. You will make one ring in this Kiln fired ring workshop. We will use silver clay to create a unique ring; learn how to measure your ring size for silver clay, texture the clay, fire and polish it. You will make the ring to your own unique design and will also be able to embellish your ring. There will be a selection of Cubic Zirconia available for you embellish your ring, as well as molds and lots of tips and techniques. You will learn how to: - Construct a ring to a chosen size - Embellish your ring and create texture - If you wish, add a fireable stone - After firing you will learn how to polish and finish your piece Please note there is a £35 material charge payable on the day. The materials charge covers 10g of Silver Art Clay, enough for a substantial single ring but there is always the option to purchase more on the day.
