About this event
Calan Gaeaf Day Retreat – Embrace the First Day of Winter Step into the quiet magic of Calan Gaeaf , the first day of winter in the Welsh tradition, celebrated alongside Samhain. This one-day retreat is designed for those wishing to dip their toes into the retreat experience , without the time or financial commitment of a full weekend away. Together we will honour the turning of the seasons through movement, creativity, and time in nature . Begin your day with seasonal yoga , moving gently and intentionally as autumn deepens. From there, explore your creativity in a pumpkin felting workshop , with all materials provided. After a nourishing packed lunch , we’ll head out for a nature walk with Qi Gong , immersing ourselves in the rhythms of the landscape and the quiet beauty of the season. As the afternoon draws in, settle into a deeply nurturing yoga, acupressure, and restorative practice , allowing the body to soften and the mind to rest. This day retreat offers a chance to pause, reflect, and reconnect at the threshold of winter — returning home with a sense of calm, clarity, and renewed energy. With only 6 places available , this intimate gathering offers a supportive and welcoming space for reflection, restoration, and seasonal connection. Early Bird Price: £125 – available until 31st May 2026
