Join us this Autumn as Greys Court once again takes a dive into it's incredible archaeological history, supported by the South Oxfordshire Archaeology Group. As part of Heritage Open Days, the dig alongside the rest of the site will be free to access for all visitors on 14, 15 and 16 September. The excavation will focus on the top lawn, investigating structures using geophysics that will hopefully shed light on medieval life at Greys Court. Explore history in action as archaeologists excavate the oval lawn—visitors are welcome to chat with the team and witness discoveries as they happen. Don’t miss the live finds processing nearby, where newly unearthed artefacts are carefully examined and documented. It’s a rare chance to experience archaeology up close—perfect for history enthusiasts, families, and curious minds of all ages. Standard admission applies on 12 and 13 September.
