Faith is innate, doubt acquired Join Ratnaghosha for a day exploring faith (shraddha) and its significance for Buddhists. Let go of blind belief and leaps of faith. In Buddhism, Sangharakshita explains, it’s “the response of the ultimate in us to the ultimate in the universe.” Faith is one of five spiritual faculties we can cultivate through practice – embracing the wisdom and meaning of the Dharma. We’ll delve into Sangharakshita’s writings on faith, and explore its meaning within Buddhist teachings and our lives through reflection and discussion. Ratnaghosha is a senior member of the Triratna Buddhist Order living at Adhisthana in Herefordshire. Who is this suitable For? Anyone who has completed a course through the Cardiff Buddhist Centre or other Triratna Centre, or who has been attending the Centre regularly. This day retreat isn’t suitable for complete newcomers Cost? This event is offered on a dana/generosity basis, with all proceeds split between the Centre and Ratnaghosha, so please give what you can. There is a £5 refundable deposit to avoid no-shows.
