We're starting something new this term called Equip Training a relaxed way to help us grow in knowing God and seeing how it connects with everyday life. It's an opportunity to think a bit more deeply about theology in an accessible and enjoyable way. For our first three-session series, we'll be reading "Enjoying God" by Tim Chester, thinking about how knowing God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit really shapes our relationship with him. We'll read about three chapters before we come to each session, then arrive ready to chat it through together. There's no need to have studied theology before - just a willingness to gently and graciously discuss some big ideas from the Bible in a small group. The plan for the sessions is... - Session 1 (17th May): Introduction to Chapter 5 (p9-74) - Session 2 (7th June): Chapter 6 to Chapter 8 (p75-108) - Session 3 (5th July): Chapter 9 to Chapter 14 (p109-183) We'll meet in the Churchgate Centre Café on Sunday afternoons from 4.45-6.00pm (with tea and cake!). You'll need to get a copy of the book beforehand, but do let me (Ben) know if cost is an issue. It's open to anyone, so if you'd like to come, drop me a message at It'd be great to have you with us!
