The Grove

This is HTC's dynamic discipleship course for anyone new to the church, not yet in a Connect Group, or those looking for additional input. Our faith was never meant to grow in isolation. Like trees in a grove, we thrive side by side; rooted in truth, shaped by the Spirit, and growing into lives that bear lasting fruit for Jesus. Inspired by the past at HTC, we look to the legacy of William Wilberforce, who worshipped here and lived at Laurel Grove. It was there, in his 20s, that his faith deepened, convictions took root, and friendships were formed that would help shape the future of the world. We believe God wants to do the same in and through us today. Sign up to The Grove and grow a life that flourishes, in every season, for a lifetime. The Grove: Growth Stream (9 weeks) For anyone who has finished Alpha, is new to faith, or is looking to strengthen or restart their spiritual journey. Through short talks and honest discussion in regular small groups, participants will build strong foundations for following Jesus and grow in confidence as disciples. Covering key themes including prayer, Scripture, the Holy Spirit, spiritual gifts, mission and spiritual formation. The Grove: Deeper Stream (9 weeks) For those wanting to be stretched and go deeper in their faith. Through teaching and discussion in regular small groups, participants will grow in spiritual maturity and be equipped to live boldly for Jesus in everyday life.
