Sri Krishna Janmashtami is the appearance day of Lord Sri Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. The birth of Lord Krishna is one of the biggest celebrations of the year, celebrated all over the world. Krishna means “the all-attractive one”. He is the cause of all causes, the Supreme personality of the entire creation, both material and spiritual, He is the God of all gods, and the Lord within everything and separate from everything at the same time. This is the day devotees celebrate His beautiful pastimes, His presence in their lives, taking time to remember their eternal loving relationship with Him and His presence within all of our hearts. Hosted at the Bhaktivedanta Manor, a picturesque Victorian estate surrounded by lush gardens, generously donated by George Harrison of The Beatles. You will learn things that will help you in your spiritual quest in life through song, dance, music, meditation, mantras and food! Sounds like a great deal? There’s more… It’s FREE So come along and be inspired. Location: Sri Krishna Haveli, Bhaktivedanta Manor Time: 7pm – 8:30pm Prasadam served after the program for attendees (from 8:30pm) Register to attend (FREE) About What to Expect: No experience necessary, Kirtan is for everyone, all you need is an open heart and mind. Expect a serene, spiritually enlivening evening of call and response chants with our incredible band. At the end, we love to mingle over prasadam. Join us every Sunday in the Sri Krishna Haveli. Filled with chanting & dancing, enlivening wisdom, culture & entertainment, and of course the delicious prasadam (feast). This will be a family friendly event, with something for everyone. A chance for the community to come together, as well as something interesting and inspiring for the newcomer. Please note that simple maha-prasadam will be available for all visitors to the temple, however the full meal (feast prasadam) will only be for attendees of the full Love feast program. 11:30am-1pm Last entry 11:45am Talk, Kirtan & Prasad Feast 4:30pm-6:30pm Last entry 4:45pm Talk, Kirtan & Prasad Feast Location: Sri Krishna Haveli Kirtan Hall Can’t make it to the Manor?
