MORE DETAILS COMING SOON... This year is the 250th anniversary of Methodism in Horsham and Cornerstone Methodist Church is organising a series of events throughout 2026 to help celebrate. Our Born in Song competition is just one of these events. Most worshippers love to gather together to listen to a good reading or to passionately sing a great worship song, so we are running a competition to inspire any budding poets, lyricists or songwriters within the community to write a spiritual/reflective poem or a Christian worship song. Entering the competition is free of charge and as easy as we could make it – and open to any denomination. And you can choose the category most suited to your writing/composing skills or your musical interests and abilities. The closing date for entries is Sunday, 28 June 2026 and shortlisted entries will be performed and judged at a live concert on 19 September 2026 at Cornerstone Methodist Church in London Road, Horsham.
