They take place right here in the centre of the Midlands: our beloved Birmingham! Join us for our second Sputnik Saturday of 2026, where our topic is Taking Risks... Audacious ideas. Provocative performance. A practice built on play and experimentation. The creative process involves all kinds of risks, beginning to end. What if it goes nowhere? What if it falls flat? Great artists often walk at the outer limit of their knowledge and ability, not knowing what lies beyond it. How do we keep up a risk-taking practice alongside everything else in our lives? And what risks do you feel called to take?
