Give your little one the perfect start in music! These sessions for 2-6 years olds and their adults blend singing, chanting, movement, instrument play, and musical games to develop natural musicality, motor skills, and social confidence. Led by Asta Hodgson, a Dalcroze-certified educator, children will explore music through embodiment - learning by doing, moving, imagining, and creating. Every class is relaxed, playful, and full of joyful discovery. These weekly sessions over 5 weeks are designed for children aged 2-6 and of walking age and are not tailored to babies, though baby siblings are welcome to join free of charge. Asta has been teaching Early Years Music in schools, nurseries, and children’s centres for nearly 20 years. The Dalcroze methodology from which she draws her practice nurtures early musicianship through experiential learning, enjoyment, and exploration. Please note each course is five weeks long and the date on the checkout screen, ticket and confirmation emails is the FINAL session.
