Start the festive season with the Acton family’s warm welcome to their Elizabethan Manor House decked with boughs of holly and scented with mulling spices. The house tour includes the conservatory, drawing room, library and justice room on the ground floor, plus the hallway with Jacobean carving on the stairs. Upstairs the tour includes the Oak Room bedroom, with fine carvings in the 17th-century wall panels and the bed, and the newly refurbished Blue Room bedroom, both of which can be booked for overnight stays.
