Celebrate the 4th of July with an unforgettable night of live music, dancing, and good old-fashioned fun. We’re bringing the party alive with Miss Dixie and the Blazing Saddles — serving up a high-energy mix of country classics, Americana favourites, and floor-filling tunes guaranteed to keep you moving all night. What better excuse to gather friends, grab a drink, and enjoy a warm summer evening with real atmosphere and plenty of dancing. Expect great music, a welcoming crowd, and a memorable evening, with a touch of country charm. Our kitchen team will be cooking up some classic BBQ food on the Big Green Eggs, with slices of smoked brisket, or pulled jackfruit, grilled corn and focaccia. *** The first 50 tickets sold will receive a voucher for a free drink* on the night *** *regular glass of wine, pint of beer/cider or soft drink.

PAINTING NATURE with Grace

Take a closer look at nature and give watercolour painting a go, in this social adult session. All levels welcome. In these relaxed sessions, we will take inspiration from natural objects (provided in the class) and learn how to record what we observe in pencil and paint. Grace will guide you through a range of techniques and methods when working with watercolour, which you can enjoy applying to your own mini-masterpiece throughout the session. Completely relaxed creative environment, with an opportunity to purchase drinks and snacks. All materials are provided. Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting painty (though watercolour does wash off). Make the most of this fab introductory price! ABOUT THE ARTIST Grace has always been creative, growing up painting with watercolours on family trips to the Lake District. After spending time working in film and TV art departments in London, she pursued a career in publishing, working as an illustrator for a children’s publishing company for several years. Grace recently moved to Bath to study Creative Writing. She continues to run her freelance illustration business alongside her studies and loves inspiring others to paint, especially the natural world, which she finds beautifully rich in detail.

MUSIC SESSIONS FOR MINI ROCK AND ROLLERS Rock Out Baby is a fun, interactive music class for babies and pre-schoolers to nourish their creativity and awaken their inner rock stars! Rock Out Baby are different from most music classes in that all their class leaders are trained and working musicians. They play covers of well-known Rock and Roll songs as well as the classic nursery rhymes; they believe that the classes should be fun for babies and grown-ups alike! Each class involves interactive puppet play, a sensory section, a bubble disco, and a big musical parachute! Each week involves a different theme that is explored through melody, rhythm, sights, and senses. Come Jam With Us! Sessions are every Thursday during term time.
