Step Back in Time at Grantham Museum’s 100th Birthday Celebration! Join us as we celebrate 100 years of Grantham Museum with a day full of history, fun, and nostalgia! Saturday 9th May 10:00am – 4:00pm Be welcomed by none other than Henry Preston, the founder of Grantham Museum, as he greets visitors just as he might have done back in 1926. Enjoy a selection of traditional parlour games from 100 years ago and experience the kind of entertainment that brought people together a century ago. Why not fully embrace the spirit of the day? Come dressed as someone from 100 years ago and take part in our Best Dressed competition for a chance to win a prize! Bring your friends and family and help us celebrate a century of stories, community, and heritage. We look forward to celebrating with you! ‘Grantham Museum: A New Century’ is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players, Grantham Museum will be able to develop new exhibitions and public programming, investing in its future as an accessible visitor attraction which celebrates Grantham’s heritage.
