Our Spring Be a Specialist for a Mathematician Day event (open to pupils currently in Years 5 and 6) offers a taste of life as a specialist mathematician where participants enjoy a variety of activities similar to what they would experience as part of the Specialist Mathematics scheme would then make a recommendation about next steps based on whether we feel that you would be suitable for this enrichment programme.I went to BAMFAD with my friends to see what it would be like if I were to become a Specialist Mathematician in Year 7. I think it’s a great way to learn challenging (but very fun) maths, as well as a chance to meet new people who also love maths as much as you do. Terms I usually run my classes on a term-style basis of between 5-7 weeks per term and I kindly ask clients to commit to the full term when they sign up. If there is a week you can't make, you are welcome to either switch classes for a week or 'double up' and come to an extra class another week, space permitting. For the full guidelines regarding switching or 'doubling up' classes, please click HERE . How It Works The next term of classes will run from w/c 11th May through to w/c 15th June 2026 inclusively (6 weeks). The cost per person for the term is £66 based on attending 1 weekly class for all classes except Monday's class which is £55 due to there being a bank holiday during the term (25th May) so no class that day.
