Taptole Times! - July 2025 Posted on Monday 7th July, 2025 Please find below our latest newsletter! NARG_Newsletter_3.pdf Palmate Survey - 21st june Posted on Thursday 3rd July, 2025 We had the privilege of surveying a pond known for its Palmate newts. We started by checking a small pond where we had around 20 newts all swimming about. We checked the rocks and logs around the pond and found a sub adult toad under one of the rocks. In the afternoon we headed to the larger pond, dipping it with nets to catch any of the inverts and amphibians within it. The pond showed to be an extremely healthy pond with toad tadpoles, smooth newts, palmate newts, newt larvae and plenty of inverts which enabled us to teach ID skills.
