@ Volunteering since 1951! On 9th May 2026 we are holding a Talyllyn Women’s Day to celebrate the involvement of women volunteers at the Railway since 1951, where the entire railway will be staffed by women volunteers! In addition there will be photographs and displays showing how the railway currently encourages and supports women and girls to achieve their potential, both on the railway and in the wider world.
