In partnership with and Dive into the Victorian tale of Sarah, a real-life princess with a Medway twist you won't want to miss! We will be telling the story of Princess Omoba Aina a.k.a. Sarah Forbes Bonetta – popularly known as the black 'godchild' of Queen Victoria. Saturday 27th June 2026 - Matinee performance 2pm. Evening performance 7pm This is a co-production with St. John's Chatham, Arts Council England and the National Lottery Heritage Fund. A professional cast of 3 is supported by a community cast. The St John's Chatham building is OPEN each Monday and Thursday from 12:30 to 2pm as a safe and welcoming place for prayer, good conversation and plenty of tea and coffee. Whether you'd like to pop in for 5 minutes of peace and quiet or to spend the whole time with us you are very welcome. There will be a small team on hand to welcome you and to talk or pray with if you would find this helpful. We look forward to welcoming you soon.
