Get Ready to step back into the fabulous music of the 1960s with this toe-tapping, twisting, head-shaking’ celebration of the decade’s greatest idols, This show honours the Artistes who made the music of the era unforgettable, from Dusty Springfield, Lulu, Cilla Black, Petula Clark, Aretha Franklin, to the Shirelles, The Supremes, Tina Turner, and many more.

Monthly Coffee Morning

Join us for a cuppa and a cake at our monthly coffee morning! Serving up a range of delicious home-baked treats from cakes to scones, biscuits to brownies, pies to tray bakes plus a range of coffee’s, tea’s, hot chocolate and a selection of cold drinks. All money raised goes towards the ongoing redevelopment of the Arts Centre. Our Box Office is also open for all ticket sales and enquiries. We’d love to see you there!

Open Auditions – Mother Goose Pantomime

About Us: Seaton Delaval Pantomime Society was established in 1973. Our aim is to provide high quality entertainment for local residents and patrons along with providing an encouraging environment for all ages to develop the skills of theatre. Our motto is ‘An amateur company, with professional standards’, something we always strive to adhere to. For over 50 years we’ve produced an annual Christmas pantomime in December and in more recent years have produced a musicals and concerts. Our society is ran entirely by volunteers with a passion for theatre and bringing the community together. Whether it’s working backstage for the first time, rigging the lights or taking to the stage to perform, we take care to ensure we mentor and develop all our members and have great pride in home grown talent from our community. In 2022 we celebrated our 50th Anniversary with a special production of Aladdin.

The 4 Decades Show

The 4 Decades Show was formed by four very experienced musicians/vocalists, with the purpose of performing some of the greatest hits from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Each member of the group has a wealth of experience from playing in various bands and working with some of the great entertainers of the time. A fully entertaining experience, the two-hour performance covers many aspects of those decades and will have you out of your seat, for sure! Covering the greats from the time, it is undoubtedly the most exciting show around today. Keeping those great tunes and times alive!

Fool’s Gold: The Blaydon Races

In 1903, William Irving painted his masterpiece ‘Blaydon Races’. It’s full of famous characters from Geordie folklore – Cushy Butterfield, Coffee Johnny, Nanny the Mazer and many more. This show tells their stories, and the tale of the Blaydon Races of 1862 through tales, brilliant projected visuals and live acoustic music. Original and traditional songs mean that the audience can join in; with a night of fun, music and tall tales! Fool’s Gold is an acoustic duo of Steve and Carol Robson. They have played hundreds of shows, bringing their infectious mixture of stories, live songs and images to audiences all over the UK – and beyond!
