Chris Difford co-wrote the classic Squeeze hits Cool For Cats, Up The Junction, Labeled with Love, Tempted, and Black Coffee In Bed, alongside Squeeze co founder Glenn Tilbrook. He has co written with Elton John, Jools Holland and worked along side such great people as Bryan Ferry while hosting songwriting workshops for over 30 years. He'll be touring in Spring 2027, armed with a new book, for an evening of classic hits hilarious conversation and readings from the book itself.

Membership Morning

On Saturday 6th June 2026 the Emmanuel Team are hosting a Membership Morning at 57 Banning Street for anyone looking to discover what membership of Emmanuel means and how we follow Jesus together here in London. This morning is for anyone who has been coming along to Emmanuel for the past year or so and who has not previously participated in our Membership course. It will cover topics like God's vision for the church, our vision for Emmanuel, membership expectations, and building our church and lives according to God's design. If you feel that Emmanuel church is your home, you are warmly invited to come along to this morning. Please arrive around 9am for a prompt start at 9.30am. Sign up below!
