About this event
Come and enjoy a wonderful day weaving your very own decorative mat or small rug using a peg loom. This workshop is perfect for beginners and you will be supported as you create your own unique mat design design. Agnis will guide you from the initial design stage and the selection of materials through to the setup and hand weaving process. There will be group demonstrations as well as one to one support throughout the workshop. You will weave your very own unique piece of fabric to take home with you. Explore different coloured yarns and textures (both man-made and natural materials) Learn how to warp up the loom Learn how to weave on the loom All equipment and materials are provided. Please note there is a £12 material charge payable on the day.
