Sun 1st Nov A Commemoration in Poppies The end of the war saw the biggest movement of people in European history. Following our celebration of the anniversary of VE Day last year, we remember those who were lost, those who were displaced and those who came home. In partnership with Finchley WI, we are asking you to help create a community installation of knitted & crocheted poppies. These will be displayed on the main House throughout November following an installation day, when you can come along and attach your poppy/poppies All patterns are welcome, but we have attached some patterns here for you to download should you wish. Red for members of the armed forces, White for civilians and Purple for animals that served Free event
