Working with Domestic Abuse Core foundation training for helping professionals: working with domestic abuse, trauma, and religious faith These workshops will give you an understanding of how to work safely with victims/survivors of domestic abuse, understanding the complex role of religious faith. You will also learn about the effects of trauma and gain an understanding of trauma-informed practice. These fully funded workshops are free to counsellors, psychotherapists and anyone in the helping professions. About the trainer: Nikki Dhillon Keane is an accredited practitioner, clinical supervisor, writer and trainer with over 20 years’ experience working with survivors of domestic abuse in faith settings. Her books include “Domestic Abuse in Church Communities” (redemptorist) and she has worked with BACP and ACC to develop guidance and competencies for practitioners working with domestic abuse
