The ‘Godfather of House Music’, Marshall Jefferson, is coming to The Terrace Dewsbury! Grammy-nominated Marshall Jefferson is a true innovator of house music and is credited as being the first artist to use piano on a house song in his now classic 1986 track ‘Move Your Body’. He was a key player in in the Chicago house scene from the start and has been an inspiration to house DJs and producers ever since. On 18th September, the ‘Godfather of House Music’ plays The Terrace Dewsbury, building on its reputation as Yorkshire’s up and coming house music independent venue. Marshall will be supported by special sets from resident DJs Paul Birbeck, Matthaus and Steve Kirk. Strictly limited to 100 tickets – be 1 of the 100
