About this event
Our walk leaders are heading out to Alderley Edge this month, A circular walk along The Edge, a sandstone ridge above the village, famous for copper mining back to the Roman Age and wizard folklore. A Fairly Flat walk with some uneven ground. Times (All timings are approximate, depending on the walk route and location): 10:00 – pick up at NMVC 10:30 – 12:30 – walk 12:30 – 13:30 – Lunch at community or suitable outdoor space 13:30 – transport back to NMVC Registration: To join the walks, you must sign up in advance, using the registration form and book a space on each individual walk. What to bring: Be prepared for the weather and terrain – suitable footwear, waterproofs or sunhats and sunscreen or both! Drink for the walk and a packed lunch. Any medication, like inhalers, that you might need on the walk If you would like to come places are limited so get in touch to book a place. Thursday 10th September 10am (meet at NMVC) Alderley Edge Approx 2 miles Minibus places available (£5) to book a place
