Leaders Refresh Evening

An evening for all small group leaders. The end of a year labouring in small group ministry can bring a mix of emotions - joy at the growth we've seen in brothers and sisters, relief that we've got a break, perhaps discrouagement at how the year has gone, or great excitement that we get to do it all again after the summer holidays. However you feel at the end of the year, the thing we all need to hear in ministry are the nourishing words of our Lord Jesus, who walked a path of service for our good and shows us the steps to follow for the good of others. We can't offer a cold drink at a sunnyside pool location - but we have something far better for our hearts: a saviour who says his burden is light and offers rest for our souls. This end-of-year evening is intended to be a time when together we can take stock of the year past, remind each other of these refreshing words of Jesus, and pray together for the different ministries we're serving in.
