Join The Imaginarium and Francesco Sarti in another creative writing course designed for writers of Science Fiction and Fantasy. This year Francesco is getting down into the details of monsters, villains, world building and flash fiction in four 90-minute sessions. Designed to give you the tips and tools to carry your writing forward, you can attend all four sessions for £50 (saving yourself £10) or pick and choose the sessions you wish to attend at £15 per session.

As part of our INDEPENDENT BOOKSHOP WEEK celebrations, join the Imaginarium (sponsored by Scott Bailey LLP) as we welcome Romance author Cressida McLaughlin in conversation with Crime author Sam Holland! We’re calling it “cromance”…perhaps not Cressida McLaughlin has sold over a million copies of her books. Her fiction is feel-good and escapist, featuring unforgettable characters who find their happy place. Sam Holland has always been fascinated with the dark and macabre. Her books have been published in 15 countries worldwide, including the US, Germany and the Netherlands. Cressida and Sam will be in conversation with each other, talking about their work, the similarities - and differences - between the two genres and much more. This is a great event for anyone who enjoys these genres, or wants to learn more about how authors construct their books. Tickets are £3 - but this is redeemable from books purchased on the night. Monday 15th June, 6:30pm. Please note that this event is being held at Lymington Community Centre in the Malt Bar.
