What will I learn? Dance, and get creative with the talented Hub Dance Team. Across the summer holidays we will be providing choreography, musical theatre, street dance and contemporary workshops.29 Jul - Dance & Create5 Aug - Choreography 12 Aug - Street Dance 19 Aug - Musical Theatre26 Aug - ChoreographyClass information:Dance & Create: Dance, and get creative. An energetic movement and craft activity inspired by the main gallery. This session consists of 30 minutes dance, followed by 30 minutes of craft in the studio.Choreography: In this fun and imaginative choreography workshop, children explore movement through creative tasks and a variety of stimuli, such as music, images, stories and themes. They develop confidence and creativity while learning how to generate ideas and create their own original choreography.Street Dance: Dancers will learn the basics of Hip Hop and Locking through games and tasks, followed by learn a structured routine that incorporates all the moves they have learnt.Musical Theatre: Participants will take part in a warm up, creative task and learn a dance routine taking inspiration from some of the most popular musicals. Do I need to bring anything with me? Please wear comfortable clothing you can move in e.g. leggings/shorts and a t-shirt and trainers. Bring a bottle of water, this can be refilled at the Hub. Is it suitable for beginners?Yes.
