As part of our ongoing partnership with the Parish of Saint Timothy in Brentwood, St Stephan and St Timothy share joint worship on the 5th Sunday of the month. In May, we will share worship for Trinity Sunday at St Stephen' service will also be available by our Zoom link. The worship service will include readings from the Bible, Holy Communion, and hymn singing. A time for socializing will follow worship. Transportation assistance from St Timothy to St Stephen will be available. Open Church

Each Thursday, between 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm, we open the doors to the worship space so that folks can stop in, sit in the quiet, say a prayer, light a candle, and/or have a quick word with our volunteer. Note: This ministry is volunteer dependent and while we do our very best to maintain the schedule, there are Thursdays when we are unable to open. We do not always have enough notice to update the website adequately of those schedule changes. If you come by and we are closed, please come again the next week!

St Stephen's Community Meal

The St Stephen's Community Meal is for everyone -- those whose budgets need a free meal and those who need a meal with others. We want to bring neighbours together, make connections, and enjoy delicious food. The Community Meal is a simple evening meal offered on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. Doors open at 4:30. Dinner is served at 5:30. Dinner menus change monthly, reflecting seasonal offerings. Generally, we have salad, bread, a main dish, and dessert. Vegan options are available. The meal is offered FREE OF CHARGE. The funding for this meal was initially provided by a Parish Development Grant from the Diocese of New Westminster. We gratefully accept donations from those willing and able to contribute financially. There is a donation jar at the meal or donations can be made online; use the drop down menu).
