Open Farm Sunday at Albanwise

Join us for a fun and relaxed day on the farm for Open Farm Sunday! There’ll be plenty to see and do for all ages. You’ll have the chance to meet the animals that live on the farm, including pigs, sheep and goats, as well as get up close to a wide range of farm machinery. For those feeling competitive, we’ll be running a timed machinery challenge where you can even have a go at driving some of the equipment. We’ll also be offering tractor and trailer tours around the farm, guided walks across the fields, and a great opportunity to learn more about how we grow crops like wheat, barley, potatoes, peas and onions. There’ll be a BBQ running throughout the day along with local beer on tap, so you can relax and enjoy the atmosphere. About this farm: We’re a working farm in the Yorkshire Wolds growing a range of crops including wheat, barley, oilseed rape, potatoes, peas and onions, with a real focus on looking after our soils and producing food sustainably. Alongside the arable side, we also have livestock on the farm including pigs, sheep and goats and cattle.
