About this event

Late July will see many species already on the move, passing through or arriving to spend the winter. This walk, aimed at beginners or improvers, will focus on the identification of wading birds on the lagoons at Levenhall Links and the mouth of the River Esk at Musselburgh. Waders can be tricky to identify, particularly in the autumn, but you will receive lots of useful hints and tips throughout this informal walk to help you identify the species present. We will also be looking out for other coastal species present out on the Forth.
