Can you crochet already but are keen to learn some new techniques? This two hour workshop will give you all the skills you need for the planned pooling technique. This involves landing the colours of variegated yarn so that they create the argyle pattern. Its always nice to have a wearable item along with your skills and so we will be making a cowl with the skills. Let there be light! This enjoyable workshop will give you the knowledge and skills to be able to make your own lampshades for years to come. You will create a lampshade to match any room or become a talking point of your space. You will learn to cut material and finish material, apply heat proof lining, mount material on frames, professionally finish your product and many more hints and tips along the way. Choose and bring half a meter of your choice of quality cotton to use on the day or buy a piece from our tutor.
