Attention all thrill-seekers and number dabblers! For just £5 a card, you’ll have a chance to become the master of the bingo hall, where the stakes are high, but the laughs are even higher. Join us as we dive headfirst into a sea of numbered balls, where every ‘BINGO!’ is like music to your ears and every missed number is just another opportunity to blame the ‘bingo gods’. At halftime, we’ll be holding a raffle that’s sure to make your bingo dauber quiver with anticipation. Prizes so outrageous, you’ll wonder if you’ve accidentally stumbled into a carnival sideshow instead of a bingo night. And as if that weren’t enough excitement for one evening, we’ll be finishing off the night with the pièce de résistance: Stand-Up Bingo!

From 6pm till 11pm, our club doors swing wide open to welcome bowlers of all stripes – whether you’re a seasoned pro looking to sharpen your skills or a complete newcomer eager to give bowls a whirl for the first time. We believe in fostering a friendly and inclusive atmosphere, where the only requirement is a willingness to have fun and give it your best shot. Never tried bowls before? Fear not! Our experienced members will be on hand to offer tips, tricks, and encouragement to help you find your footing on the green. Who knows? You might just discover a hidden talent for sending bowls sailing down the rink with pinpoint precision – or at the very least, a newfound appreciation for the art of lawn bowling. And because no practice session is complete without a little post-bowling relaxation, our fully licensed bar will be open for business, serving up refreshing beverages to quench your thirst and keep the good times rolling. Plus, we’ll have some toe-tapping tunes playing in the background to add a little extra flair to your evening on the green. So whether you’re a seasoned bowler looking to hone your skills or a curious newcomer eager to give bowls a try, come on down to North Watford Bowls Club on Thursday evenings for an evening of fun, friendship, and maybe even a few lucky shots. We can’t wait to see you on the green!

Darts Night

Get ready to take aim, fire, and occasionally hit the board. Join us for an evening of bullseyes, banter, and bewilderingly wayward throws as we gather together to prove that precision is overrated and laughter is the real name of the game. With a maximum of 28 players, it’s first come, first served, so grab your darts and get here for 7:30pm. For just £3 per player, you’ll have the chance to join a team drawn weekly, ensuring that every matchup is as unpredictable as a dart thrown by a blindfolded clown. All teams will face off against each other, with more twists and turns than a drunken dart player stumbling to the oche. Once all the matches have been played, the top two teams will battle it out for the ultimate prize: a cash jackpot that will have even the most inaccurate dart flinger aiming for glory. And let’s not forget the individual accolades – cash prizes will also be awarded for the highest score of the evening and the highest checkout over 49. Who knew missing the board could be so rewarding? See you at the oche!
