Open Farm Sunday at Buckmoorend Farm

For us Open Farm Sunday is really important. It's as much about free family fun, as it is about educating people about sustainable farming, teaching where food comes from, and the importance of supporting local! We have planned a range of activities for young and old. We will be getting creative in craft corner, welly wanging, tyre rolling, face painting, finding a way through our hay maze, showing displays of our farm machinery, giving talks on livestock, arable & sustainable farming, a butchery demonstration, meeting some local producers and of course meeting the animals! Hot food and refreshments will be available to purchase throughout the day from our farm kitchen with seating available both outdoor and in our hay barn. Our farm shop will be open offering the chance to purchase our home reared meats alongside an array of other homemade and local produce. We can't wait to show our farm to you!
