Open Farm Sunday at Carrick Enterprises Ltd

Castle Farm is a 450 acre business encompassing arable, livestock and hospitality enterprises. The farm's northern boundary is bounded by the River Wensum,one of the UK's most important chalk watercourses, designated a Special Area of Conservation under The European Habitats Directive. Visitors to the farm on Open Farm Sunday will have the opportunity to visit our Pedigree, High Health herd of registered Lincoln Red suckler cows and their calves who graze the river's flood plains throughout the summer. In addition we welcome to our event, many stalls informing visitors of every aspect of services to the rural economy, including wellbeing, health and safety, precision farming, use of drones, diversification, forage making. Also tractor and trailer rides, butchery demonstration, competitions, games for children, guess the weight of the bull, name the calf, bar and refreshments. Something for everyone! All welcome.
