Rising London-based neo-soul and jazz artist Aria celebrates the launch of her debut album Rectify at PizzaExpress Live Soho featuring her acclaimed 9 piece band. Born in Hong Kong to a British father and Norwegian mother, Aria brings a distinctive global perspective to her songwriting, blending classic soul influences with contemporary jazz, cinematic textures, and emotionally rich lyricism. Her breakout single Rectify Your Soul introduced her to national audiences, receiving BBC Radio 6 Music airplay, support from BBC Introducing, and a five-week run on the Jazz FM playlist, including “Track of the Week”. She has since performed at leading UK festivals and venues including Cheltenham Jazz Festival, supporting Nectar Woode, steadily building a reputation as one of the most compelling emerging voices on the UK jazz and soul scene. This album launch marks the live unveiling of Rectify in full, an immersive evening of new material, reimagined arrangements, and special guest appearances from acclaimed jazz musicians Poppy Daniels and Chris Montague.
