Full Afternoon Landscape Painting Workshop - 'Summer Water Reflections'

Full Afternoon Landscape Painting Workshop – August ‘Summer Water Reflections’ A 4½ hour immersive landscape painting workshop. Join me for an inspiring afternoon of landscape painting as we capture the tranquillity and atmosphere of a summer evening reflected in still waters. Inspired by the beauty of the English countryside, this workshop focuses on creating a landscape filled with glowing reflections, soft mist and warm evening light. Working on a 30cm x 25cm board, you’ll learn the techniques I use in my own landscape paintings to create depth, atmosphere and luminosity through layered acrylic techniques, expressive mark-making and subtle colour harmony. The smaller board size has been carefully chosen to allow you to create a beautifully resolved painting within the five-hour session while still exploring all the key techniques used to build an atmospheric landscape. With a maximum of just five participants, you’ll benefit from plenty of individual guidance and support as I demonstrate how to create convincing water reflections, distant trees, soft atmospheric effects and the gentle glow of sunset across the landscape. Suitable for beginners and more experienced painters alike, this workshop offers a relaxed and supportive studio environment where you can develop new skills while creating your own atmospheric waterside landscape to take home. All materials are included, along with tea, coffee, and light refreshments.

In this afternoon workshop, Tommaso will show you how make the perfect pasta dough; he’ll then guide you through two traditional pasta shapes (Malloreddus and Orecchiettte) ; as well as one filled lemon and basil ricotta ravioli pasta; all rolled and shaped by hand! He will communally cook and talk you through how to cook your ravioli and show you how to make a classic herb butter sauce. 'Painterly Wildflower' - 3½ Hour Painting Workshop

Expressive brush-led grasses and seedheads, enriched with textured sponging and sculpted impasto flowers This workshop focuses on creating a soft, painterly wildflower landscape using acrylics on board. You’ll begin by building a gentle, atmospheric background with sponged layers of textured acrylics, before developing flowing grasses, stems and seed heads using expressive brushwork to create movement, rhythm and structure across the painting. In just 3½ hours, you’ll learn the techniques and materials I use in my own work to create a richly textured floral painting of your own. Working with acrylics on board, you’ll be guided step by step to produce a unique little masterpiece — a piece of art to take home and be proud of. Your painting will be created on 3mm MDF board; a beautifully responsive and durable surface that works perfectly with layered acrylic techniques and is ideal for framing, which many participants choose to do after the session. Run from the comfort of my Studio in Ditchling, in a supportive and nurturing environment with an intimate group of up to six people, allowing one to one tuition. This workshop is suitable for all artistic abilities, even if you’re a complete novice, the methods we’ll be using are easy to learn and apply. The cost is £60 per person, including quality artists’ paints, boards, and a range of inspiring materials to experiment with. You don’t need to bring a thing, just come along and create your own little work of art.

'Meadow Alchemy' 3½ Hour Painting Workshop

An immersive and inspiring workshop where you’ll learn the expressive techniques I use in my own painting practice. Process-led: paint rolling, dripping & spattering with sculpted impasto flowers ‘Meadow Alchemy’ explores a process-led approach to creating a contemporary wildflower landscape using acrylics on board.
