Sunday Morning Celebration

Joining us for our Sunday Morning Celebration at St John's Chatham at 10:30am. Our weekly Sunday Morning Celebration last about hour and a half and contain an engaging mix of sung worship, prayer, Bible reading and talk. During school terms there is a children's group for primary school aged children and a youth group for young people in school years 7 to 10 apart from during our once a month All Age Celebration (the first Sunday of the month). There is also an area set aside for parents and carers with children under 5 years of age. Doors open at 10am and you will receive a very friendly welcome at the door. We also hope that you will be able to join us for refreshments after our Morning Celebration. For those who are not able to join us in the building our Sunday Morning Celebrations are live-streamed on our YouTube channel. Bursting with mischief, chaos, romance and magic, this joyful, family-friendly outdoor production A Midsummer Night’s Dream Presented by The East London Shakespeare Festival Bursting with mischief, chaos, romance and magic, this joyful, family-friendly outdoor production reimagines Shakespeare’s hilarious comedy with a bold splash of contemporary flair. Escape into the enchanted forest alongside Hermia, Lysander, Helena and Demetrius as they get more than they bargained for, when a vibrant cast of magical woodland fairies take matters into their own hands. With ELSF’s signature high-energy numbers, slapstick comedy, and audience participation, this is Shakespeare for everyone! Alongside a community engagement programme with lots of opportunities to get involved. For younger members of the audience (3+), you can also take part in a pre-show ‘flower-fairy’ headband making workshops run by cast members. This is at a small additional charge to show tickets so please add a separate workshop ticket when booking.
